Owen Higgs

I graduated from Guy’s Dental Hospital in 2001 and ended up in lovely Yorkshire to follow my wife who is a Yorkshire lass.

I started work in general practice in Keighley and in 2006 moved over to Ilkley Dental Care Limited with Philip Moore.

The challenge of working in practice has been an enjoyable one and it has given me a range of skills that allows me to consider every patient and to treat them according to their specific needs.

Dentistry is not a one size fits all job. Looking at each patient and successfully completing their treatment, whether it is a check-up, small filling or a large cosmetic case, is a real pleasure.

I consider that successful dental treatment depends entirely on the trust that must exist between the patient and he dentist and building that relationship is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
